A personal miscellany.
Barns looks so good in photos, don't they? I miss that way of life. Nice haiga.
I love the new mixed with the old and together they meld nicely. Cute haiga!
My MIL would love that photo! She is way into barns. The haiga and pic do so well together. Nice...
Very cool! The barn looks like the ones Up State where I live. thanks for visiting my blog.
Alex learned a new word today:byre (br) n. Chiefly British. A barn for cows.[Middle English, from Old English bre; see bheu- in Indo-European roots.]Thank you Mandy.
Nice ku and very nice building!
I love the juxtaposition of the red on stone, and your haiku captures it nicely."byre" is a new word for me too! Thanks :)
This is beautiful. I love the picture that goes with it.
First, a thank you to Alex for saving me the keystrokes to learn what a "byre" is. Now that I know, yes, a lovely haiga. Perfectly complemented.
This building is really unique. I've never seen a barn in person yet. :p
Megan learned a new word today, too...and she does love that! What a great barn and how steadily the red wood sits on the old stone foundation. Very nice.
Ah, this is a great barn!
