I was looking for a pole handing out of the window. Looks refreshing.

I have to admit that I do go through the odd river or ford in my land rover where it is allowed. It is a treat to be able to do so in an old landrover.
What a great picture again... always a pleasure

This gave me a smile. I'd have to load my little car into the boat to get it across. Or just go to boating right off.

the little raft on top of the landrover makes it interesting...

Have no fear it's not floods it had just backed a larger boat into the sea and got stuck when coming out,
the tide was going out at the time,

At first glance, it appears the rover was trying to launch its raft. Your explanation makes more sense (of course).

Nice ku.
