Lovely image and words. I feel a sad sense of nostalgia, at the thought that perhaps such family ventures are a dying breed. I love to read / hear / watch about such things. Families building their own homes - with their own hands not contractors - always makes a glad tear come to my eye.
the deepest of belonging...i love when my in-laws, my husband & my children are in the kitchen together!
