The first line makes me wonder about what it is that they are watching and will make them laugh...

Yes, the image with the half smile line makes one wonder what lies beyond our ability to see.

I love your snapshot in time and the line "horizon event". You were able to say we see what is on this side but only suspect what comes next. Nice work.

This is a very eternal photograph. I can see that half smile coming.

Lovely.... Pretty impressive when you can spend time dissecting three lines. I love the half smile as a "horizon event" before the laugh. Just wonderful!

Your poem is delightful. How wonderful that it made us all think so much too.

Cool! I can imagine all sorts of horizon things that would bring wild laughter!

Delightful, both photo and haiku. Gave me quite a chuckle. Like the unusual comparison.

Great photo for you words. I smiled when I saw it and wondered what was so funny.

ooh, nice metaphor! that works so well, as horizon event and horizon of straight lips on straight face just before the telltales blow into sound. that's fabulous. wish I'd written it.

I am imagining that silly dolphins or silly fishermen will be making them laugh. I want so badly to see it too!

This is really wise and tender. I enjoyed reading it several times and got more out of it each time. Wonderful pairing with the photo too.

It left me tingling with eagerness to learn what is there in the horizon. Well written, Mandy.
