Oh, how I dislike all those wires that intrude upon my sky. A unique choice of topic to view. Lovely.

When I moved from Florida to Georgia and went house-hunting, one of the things I especially wanted was underground electric! My view is unobstructed by electric poles and wires. I love it!

Oh, I like this one. So tired of hearing people give reasons why they can't soar!

I like the combined image and words. I actually felt a sensation of rising above the limitations of the wires.

Excellent haiga! Love the juxtaposition between the permanence of the steel and the vastness of the sky. Wonderful! JP/deb

Nice photo and poem. The poem makes me think of the movie, "The Butterfly and the Diving Bell" that I recently watched. No matter what binds or ties us up, we can still send our thoughts to the sky.

Mandy, how lovely your haiku! With a gorgeous photo by lori to match! And yes, you can come along on my river boat down the Mississippi. Gerald is invited too! :D

Wonderful photo and haiku that neatly illustrate that 'steel [wires] do not a prison make'.

Very freeing. It makes me feel as if I'm in prison, but only my body.
