Whom is waiting for whom? This makes for a nice reflection.

I would not mind being welcomed there. Beautiful.

What I like about this brief poem is its truth -- I've never seen a beach without at least one solitary watcher.

Nice idea that there is always someone waiting - welcoming and ever hopeful!

Hi Mandy, this makes me wonder whoever might be. Then I wonder if whoever will come or not. The picture is inviting, on the chilly side and a little windy, but still a nice place to alight.

Yes, I know, I am a little on the corny (twee) side with most of my 'poems'. Thank you for noticing, I try to exagerate slightly.
..
BTW, all during Mrs. Jim's pregnacy we did call our Karen by the name of Festus. That was the day before prebirth sex determination.

I loved the mirroring of this poem! Beings, little beings, everywhere...

Thank you, Mandy!
