Beautiful image and insightful recognition that some things cannot be barred nor tamed. :)
Thanks for your comment on my picture of my grandaughter at ocean side. Your mention of King Canute caused another pic and post for today. I referenced your comment. Hope that's ok. Nita
checked out the sheffield link... can empathise as wwe had been through similar situation in 26/27jul05... now everytime it rains there is a palpable fear of what we had gone thru..

A lovely combination of words and photo. I would love to see where that path goes!
Wonderful photo and one liner. :-)
I am a lover of wild flowers and fences or gates. The path leading in makes it extra special.
Great stuff. Really strong. Saying so much in so few words. There is a lot to take from this.
Just beautiful... Makes me want to slip over the gate and see what's behind...
This is wonderful! Nature has her way most of the time...
Try as we might, we really can't tame nature. Excellent words to accompany the photo.
A lovely combination of words and photo.
Wonderful photo.
Tanks for your comments.

Like others here,I think ultimately Nature will not be tamed by us...She will always have her way, in the end. When will we learn??
I love the combined effect of image and word. It's really great how you can punch in so much with so few words... shall be visiting again and often.
it's beautiful.... i often wonder why anyone would want to "tame" some - thing or some-one
Wonderfully rich words -- great depth in that one line. Beautiful photo too.
Great nature shot : )
I love the photo -- it is what envision when I think of a perfect little English garden behind a house.

I like your comment on the photo, contrasting the barring of a path yet showing the untamed flora.
