A personal miscellany.
I know that kind of cold-and I love it.God bless you in 2008.
I hate to say it, but I'm delighted I'm moving where I won't have to be in a scene like this ever again (sunny southern California), unless I choose to visit in the winter somewhere. However, I will always appreciate the visual beauty of winter and frost ... such as this haiga captures.
perfect marriage of words and image! i miss New England.... thanks! A Laughing Gypsy
Love the combination of words and image. I can feel the cold, feel it clear into my marrow!
I like the "beaten by frost" image. I once saw pictures of frozen sea and it looked like it had tried to escape from a rabid dog's bite,Happy new year.
Brilliant. Brrrr.... Peace & happiest new year wishes, JP/deb
and *that* is cold!!! i feel your words tonight even though we're not quite that cold...happy new year
I am sitting here already cold and your haiga gave me a shiver. That is exactly what poetry is supposed to do...well done!S
Mandy, such stark words and striking image give full meaning to your beautiful Haiku.love-bd
