I hate to say it, but I'm delighted I'm moving where I won't have to be in a scene like this ever again (sunny southern California), unless I choose to visit in the winter somewhere. However, I will always appreciate the visual beauty of winter and frost ... such as this haiga captures.

Love the combination of words and image. I can feel the cold, feel it clear into my marrow!

I like the "beaten by frost" image. I once saw pictures of frozen sea and it looked like it had tried to escape from a rabid dog's bite,
Happy new year.

I am sitting here already cold and your haiga gave me a shiver. That is exactly what poetry is supposed to do...well done!
